Memory is the Treasure and Guardian of All Things

Memory is elusive…. It inadvertently commands our experiences and our very reality.

How do we have a healthy, balanced life if our brain is constantly recalling and running all these perhaps disjointed "memories" in the background? I am not saying this is always the case but sometimes it interferes with a productive life experience.

Let's think about this....

Some memories may not even be valid. Some may not be exact recall impacted by disjointed dialogue or rhetoric from our self-talk. They may be intertwined with confusion of the experience/fantasy/dreams/ or impacted from fear or anxiety during the actual imprinting of the memory in our brain at the time.

Your brain is the command center and your body is in constant dialog with it. Anything that happens to you is filtered through your brain and your body simply executes the commands it receives from the brain.

Joe Dispenza, a specialist in neuroscience, describes it this way – “Our thoughts are the language of the brain and our feelings are the language of the body.”

Joe goes on to explain how we can rewire our brains and consequently our memories by “laying down new tracks”. When we consciously and deliberately change our view of our experiences we open up a whole new perspective and new feelings, hence we “lay down new tracks” for the memory and the feelings it holds for us.

Simple and impactful techniques such as meditation, breathing, tapping, sound healing, and overall awareness can begin the process of laying down new tracks to release feelings that no longer serve you.

Stay well, stay safe, and step into your freedom.

In gratitude,

Sharon

“ Warning: when feelings become the means of thinking, or if we cannot think greater than how we feel, we can never change.
To change is to think greater than how we feel.
To change is to act greater than the familiar feelings of the memorized self.”
